Make Your Own Organic Soaps

How to Make Chunky Soaps

We are continuing with making organic soaps video series.

In this video you will learn how to make chunky soaps by using the scraps from your cookie cutter soap.

Things you'll need:

  • Leftover soap scraps
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Soap mold
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Organic / natural melt and pour soap (olive oil soap)
  • White colorizing powder
  • Glass measure
  • Lavender essential oil

This one is very easy and fun to do.

Judy, the soap expert, demonstrates how to cut the soap scraps into small pieces and put them in the mold.

Then she melts some olive oil soap and pours it over the scraps in the mold. After it set up, she shows how to take the soap bars out of the mold by giving them a pinch and gently pressing in the center.
