Make Your Own Organic Soaps

How to Make Cookie Cutter Soap

We are continuing with making organic soaps video series.

In this video you will learn how to use a cookie cutter to make your own soap.

Things you'll need:

  • Cookie cutters
  • Aluminum foil
  • Organic / natural melt and pour soap
  • Lilac colorizing powder
  • Glass measure
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife

Judy, the soap expert will show you how you can use the melt and mold soap at home even if you don't have fancy soap molds laying around your house.

She demonstrates how to use a cookie cutter and an aluminum foil as soap molds by making a little tray out of the foil and placing the cookie cutter inside. You can use any size cookie cutters or any shape you want.

After she has melted the soap base, she adds some color to the mixture and pours it right into the center of the cookie cutter. She lets it dry and then gently removes the soap out of the mold.

Don't throw away your leftover scraps, Judy will show you how to make chunky soaps with these scraps.
