Make Your Own Organic Soaps
How to Make Soaps Using Rubber Stamps
We are continuing with making organic soaps video series.
In this video you will learn how to make fancy decorative soaps using rubber stamps you might have around the house.
Things you'll need:
- Cutting board
- Sharp knife
- Organic / natural melt and pour soap (avocado cucumber soap)
- Rubber stamps
- Soap mold (of your choice)
- Color (of your choice)
- Fragrance (of your choice)
Judy, the soap expert, shows you step by step how to make these pretty soaps, they make a really nice touch for your guest bathroom or as a little party favor.
She uses a foamy rubber stamp, (but you can use the block type and just peel off the design) and rubber cement it to the bottom of the mold. The shape of the rubber stamp is going to get embedded in your soap.
Judy melts some soap and adds color and fragrance to, and she just pours that on top of the stamp and into the mold, and lets it set up. When it's ready, she takes out the soap bar and gently removes the rubber stamp.
What a beautiful soap bar!
